Sanatana Dharma

 What is Sanatana Daharma ?

There are many religion on Earth. The religion with high followers are - Christianity (approx. 31%), Islam(approx. 24%), Unaffiliated (approx. 16%), Hinduism (approx. 15%), Buddhism(approx. 7%), Folk religion (approx. 6) and other. 

Now which one of these is Sanatana dharma ? The Hinduism with a follower of 15% population of world(approximately) is Sanatan Dharma. 

I don't know you think or not but I have curiosity to know that which is the oldest religion in world. And when I search on Google then I get to know that (according to Wikipedia) the oldest religion on earth is Hindu or we can say  Sanatana Dharma. 

In my opinion Hindu is not only a religion it is science. When you think about the tradition of Hindu religion you get to know that they have a importance in scientific view also. For example, when you read Hanuman chalisa then you find a line - "Yug Sahstra Yojan Par Bhanu" and when you calculate it is approximately same as the distance between sun and earth. Hindu religion has contribution in all the feild of Science. If we talk about math famous Hindu mathematician Maharishi Aryabhatt founded zero, if about surgery Maharishi Charak and many more.

Hindu is a religion which teaches "Vashudhev Kutumbakam" means "The whole world is our family". 

God of Hindu

The main component of any religion is their God. And in Hindu religion there are too many God. But there are three major God known as Tridev (three god) :-

                   1. Brahma - The creator.

                   2. Vishnu   - The God who take                                                care of everybody.

                   3. Mahesh - The God who destroy                                           everything.

As well as there are three major goddess known as Tridevi (three goddess)

                   1. Sarasvati - The Goddess of                                                      sound, music and                                                mind.

                   2. Lakshmi - The Goddess of Gold                                             (money).

                   3. Parvati

According to Hindu mythology, these god take Avatar (born in different bodies) and some Avatar are humans also. The major one are - Ram, Sita, Krishna, Lakshman, Balram, Parsuram, Hanuman, etc.

Sanatan Dharma has a history even older than history of universe hence it is impossible to write it hear. So I will be back with the same topic and new knowledge in my next post.
